There was no shortage of amazing fans at the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 and each day, fans and family members were able to join in the spirit of the Games helping to support and uplift all those competing.

Leadership

Special Olympic’s leadership work drives personal and cultural change. First, we build leadership skills in athletes, so they have the opportunity to become leaders within the movement, their communities, and ultimately, teachers of inclusion. Then, through the Unified Leadership approach, athletes educate people without disabilities to improve their behaviors and practices creating more inclusive environments for all.

Camp Shriver Resources

Camp Shriver is an inclusive Unified Sports® camp modeled after the original camp at the home of Special Olympics Founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver as a precursor to Special Olympics. These camps are designed to provide a Unified Sports experience for young people with and without intellectual disabilities.

High 5 for Fitness is a set of resources for youth ages 8 – 21 to help you take control of your own fitness by making healthy choices. Being fit means that you eat well, drink plenty of water, and move a lot every day. Fit kids feel good and have lots of energy because their bodies are strong and healthy.
