Para convertirse en grandes atletas, deben ser atletas saludables. Centrarse en el mejoramiento físico a través del deporte puede ayudar a tomar decisiones positivas en la vida diaria que contribuyen al rendimiento deportivo, a prevenir las lesiones y a mejorar la salud y el bienestar general. Los Capitanes de Mejoramiento Físico trabajarán en estrecha colaboración con sus entrenadores para ayudar a garantizar que la salud y el acondicionamiento físico sean un componente clave de la experiencia deportiva.

El objetivo de este curso de capacitación es proporcionar a los Capitanes de Mejoramiento Físico las habilidades y conocimientos necesarios que les permitirán liderar su equipo deportivo en actividades relacionadas con el mejoramiento físico y el estilo de vida saludable.

The Special Olympics Leadership Academy, established in 2014, is an award-winning program dedicated to developing inclusive and future-ready leaders of the Special Olympics Movement. With a focus on developing inclusive mindsets, providing skillsets, and practical tools, the Academy aims to build capacity and strengthen leaders' abilities to achieve inclusion globally. Leadership Academy forms part of the Special Olympics Learning and Development Strategy Pillar “Advancing” and directly supports Special Olympics Strategic Plan 2021 – 2030 Enabler 4 “Drive Excellence.”
