Rhythmic Gymnastics Coaching E-learning Modules Available
General Module
Coaches will: learn about:
- Learn about levels, apparatus and formats of Special Olympics Rhythmic Gymnastics.
- Be provided with coaching tips and guidance to support them as they plan to prepare their athletes for competition.
- Become familiar with how athletes will be judged in competition, enabling them to prepare their athletes for competition.
Level Specific Modules:
These modules are primarily video based and will take 30 – 40 minutes each to complete.
They will introduce the coaches to the required apparatus for each level. It will also provide coaches with a series of videos for coaching specific body movements in each apparatus routine, as well as guidance on judging for that event. Coaches will be able to test their learning through knowledge checks throughout the course and will be required to achieve an 80% score to successfully pass the end of the course assessment and receive their certificate of completion.
Language Availability
At present, the courses are only available in English. However, we will be looking to add translations to these before the end of the year.

Certificates
Please note that learners will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully completing each of the modules. Please note that this certification is NOT a substitute for Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach education (e.g. Federation education, or in person training), but is an additional, and important additional learning opportunity for our coaches. The certificates can be downloaded after completing the course by clicking on the “Download Certificate” button.
