Facilitator

Facilitation is a way of helping people share thoughts and ideas. A facilitator is often a guide who provides a calm and steady presence to help a group explore new content, a new challenge, or a new opportunity.

The purpose of this training is to discuss what facilitation is and describe the value it brings to learning. Give athlete leaders time to practice three key facilitation skills that will help them become better facilitators and practice how they can respond to ‘in the moment’ participant questions.
