New Style and Format for Athletics Coaching Guide

By By Fiona Murray

Attention all Athletics Coaches!

We have just revised our Athletics Coaching Guide. This is the first Coaching Guide to be reviewed and updated into our new format. Over the coming months and years, we will update all sport coaching guides. We have updated and streamlined content to make the guide easier to read and navigate.

These new guides will all have simplified language that makes it easier for everyone to understand. The guides are more attractive and easier to use. One of the best parts is the guides will be shorter--much shorter!

We have made the guides shorter by removing topics that apply to all sports, such as warms up and cool downs; planning a training season; conducting training safely; and setting goals. All of these topics will be addressed in a number of brand new short guides for coaches which will be available very soon.

Don’t forget to check back with us soon and keep looking at our “What’s New” section.
