Washington, District of ColumbiaUNITED STATES

On July 31, 2014, President and Mrs. Obama together with a special guest will host a “state dinner” at the White House in honor of the Special Olympics movement and the call to create a “Unified Generation.” With just 12 months to go before the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, the dinner will inaugurate a year of activities and events to challenge the nation to embrace the unique civil rights movement of inclusion, unity and dignity that is led by people with intellectual disabilities, their friends and families and our youth.
