Using MySOI
MySOI is a secure website for Special Olympics International employees to use when it's necessary to collaborate, provide files for others to use, to store sensitive documents and to get information. It's available wherever you can sign in to the Web, so it's useful in the office and out.
Sign in with Email Address and Email Password. When you first go into MySOI each time, you will be required to enter a user name and password. Take care to enter your Special Olympics email addres and your email password.
First off, MySOI is intended for use by SOI employees only. You can get into the site with your email username and password, no matter whether you are at the office or off site.
The home page for MySOI is at https://specialolympicsorg-2.sharepoint.microsoftonline.com/default.aspx You can also reach the MySOI employee portal by clicking "My Company Portal" on the Microsoft Online Services Sign-in window, which launches when you start your SOI computer.
If you are prompted to enter your Special Olympics user name, use your email address, and your email password. Just to be clear, the email password is the one you enter when using Microsoft Outlook. It is not the same thing as the password you enter to sign in to your computer.
A MySOI Success Story
One common challenge is keeping track of the latest version of a document as versions flit around on e-mail. Faced with this challenge on an e-communications project, SOI's Rafael Pacheco came up with a simple solution: maintain a single copy of each document on MySOI. Every edit is made in place, so there are no multiple versions to sort. And because MySOI is available on and off site, it’s convenient. That easy change has greatly simplified the process.
