Inclusive Health

Special Olympics and its implementing partner, the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD), recognize you as a key champion of health, with technical expertise and influence that could greatly impact the lives of people with intellectual disabilities (ID). On May 9, 2017, we hosted the “Inclusive Health Forum” in Washington DC to discuss how we can collectively have a profound impact on the health of people with ID by ensuring that people with and without ID have the same opportunities to be healthy. As we move forward in building a national inclusive health movement, below are some resources that provide an overview of the need and urgency around this issue.
