Global Development Summit Info Center

The first Special Olympics Global Development Summit gathered some of the best minds from around the world to explore ways to "End the Cycle of Poverty and Exclusion for People with Intellectual Disabilities."

Participants in the 30 January summit in PyeongChang, Republic of Korea, included government officials, human rights activists, as well as leaders from the sports and business world. There's no easy answer to the questions raised. But, as one activist noted, "When we bring our skills together, we are unstoppable."

Check the link below for an overview of the summit, full coverage of the day's presentations and conversations in video, and downloads of speeches and more.
